I had an attorney Danny Shifflet? from Marion Ohio that I became friends with and he was a Rattler. He had a lot of very interesting photos from his time in Nam. Danny passed away maybe 10 yrs. ago RIP. His wife’s name was Patti.

Ironically, the early eagle flights of Junction City were for the 196th to secure the AO for the one and only Airborne jump of the Vietnam War. The jump was done by the 173rd and it was kind of a cluster! Thx Ron for responding
