A Veteran whether active duty, reserve or retired is someone who, at one time in their lives wrote a blank check made payable to The United States of America for an amount “up to and including his/her life”. “Steven C. My husband Sgt. Robert Smith served with the 196th 3/21 A company June 1967 - June 1968. His MOS was 11C but he did light weapons duties. He has quite a few photos of helicopters during that time period. Two of the photos have tail numbers of the helicopters. One is 231 picture taken around October 1967 and one is 042 taken around June 1968. I would like to know what happened to those helicopters and who flew them if that is possible. There are two people in the photographs from kind of far away and one is from the back but..still pretty cool..any help you can give me is much appreciated. My husband is deceased and never talked about his experiences..Thank you so much

Am trying to locate any Huey crew members involved in heavy contact w/ numerous NVA on a large LZ approx. 13 klicks East of Bu Dop during the afternoon of 24 March 67.
