Want to say hi to all the Rattlers and Firebirds and Mechanics of the 151st maint det. I served in the 151st from Jan 21 1968 till 21 Jan 69. I was a Sp6 tech inspector, Also I was placed in charge of all night maint by Major Budig in May or June of 68. The men of the 151st worked their a--s off for the flying crews and were damn proud to do so.I had a jr E5 by the name of Walter(walley) with a polish last name I cant recall, if anyone could help me find him would be great. I notice on this guest book not many people from 68 show up here. Why?

My husband Sgt. Robert Smith served with the 196th 3/21 A company June 1967 - June 1968. His MOS was 11C but he did light weapons duties. He has quite a few photos of helicopters during that time period. Two of the photos have tail numbers of the helicopters. One is 231 picture taken around October 1967 and one is 042 taken around June 1968. I would like to know what happened to those helicopters and who flew them if that is possible. There are two people in the photographs from kind of far away and one is from the back but..still pretty cool..any help you can give me is much appreciated. My husband is deceased and never talked about his experiences..Thank you so much
