Rattler/Firebird Reunion 2010
Where and When
The
2010 edition of the Rattler/Firebird Reunion was held Wednesday,
May 12th to Sunday, May 16th, 2010 at the Sheraton
Music City Hotel in Nashville and it was a huge success. Watch this space
for more information, photos and video from the festivities. Until we get

Guest Speaker
Michael Durant
Our guest speaker was Michael Durant, a retired CW4, who wrote a best
selling book, In The Company of Heroes. This book tells the story
that was depicted in the movie, Blackhawk Down. Durant was the command
pilot of the MH-60 Blackhawk that was shot down on October 3, 1993 in Mogadishu,
Somalia. He sustained very serious injuries in the crash and was captured
and held as a POW for 11 days. Read
