Nina Crosby Pritchard

Today, Aug.5,2002, I found this site. I have never been informed that a member of the helicopter crew had been returned. I am confused, could you give me more details, like where the remains were located when they were found or returned. Thanks,
Nina C. Pritchard

Message to Nina. My father (capt. Douglas Schultz) flew with and was good friends with Herb. He never said much about it, but years ago when I went to D.C, he had me look up Herb at the Wall memorial.

First guy I met when I came to the company. Liked him from first day. I will never forget when they came and announced we had a ship down and they were missing. Flew many hours searching for any sign but found nothing. Would love to know the story. Another friend gone too early. I believe he was due to come home in a few weeks when they went missing.

This has haunted me since Jan. 10th 1970 – may they rest in peace. I knew that “ALLEN” was from the Boston area.
I would like to find out if there are any relatives still in the Tewksbury, Ma. area.

I work at the Edson/Westlawn Cemetery in Lowell, MA. I found this site after speaking with John, the previous poster. I wanted to let anyone that sees this know that Mr. Allen’s remains are at rest here at Westlawn Cemetery. If you need further information please do not hesitate to call us at 978-970-3323. Thank you.

I visit Wayne at Edson/Westlawn cemetery every Memorial day. Tidy up his site, and leave American flags on both sides of his grave stone. You will never be forgotten Brother.
