Randy was a fine person and I have remembered him every day that has passed since his death.
first met Randy in Georgia, 11th Air Assault Div…we did become good friends. he had a magnifcant handlebar mustache then…very proud if it…then after a few drinks,…I clipped off the left side….oops. Months later he showed up in BEN HOA.We began working together again. So talented, professional….we had a platoon party..lots of beer…Randy found a pair of scissors and lopped off a big chunk of my hair !..Payback !! Everyone thought a fight was coming…but we laughed and hugged and remembered…he was a really cool breeze..

I never had the opportunity to meet Randy. My dad spoke very fondly of him and his family. I am very proud of him and his service to our country. I am sad that I never was able to meet him.
