I am currently working on Huey 67-17364. I believe this aircraft to be a Rattler. She served in the 71st from 08/1969-11/1970. We are going to make this girl fly again. Gary, I remember Mateus Rose well. Kathy and used to drink it often back in the 70's. Haven't seen any in many years now. Recently found a Riesling which reminds me of the German Rhine valley wines we used to drink in Mainz in the mid-60's. It comes in a blue bottle labeled Schmitt Sohne Riesling. If you haven't read Terry Garlock's article in the Nov newsletter, I urge you to do so immediately. It is an excellent synopsis of how the US broke our word and abandoned our allies in RVN. True, they were not always our greatest allies but, thanks to the Democrats of that era, we did lie to them by breaking our promise to assist them if they were attacked. Regardless of whether we should have been there or not, we made promises that we later broke. Shame on the US.
