Linda Green, No, I wasn't able to make it to the wall display that time, but have seen to it in the past as well as the original wall in DC several times. Yes,we have found Wake Forest to be a very military friendly community. I have Disabled Veteran plates on my cars and I often have Thank You notes placed on them and have even received gift cards to Starbucks. Thankfully, a far different attitude than what we faced when we were serving. I only hope that it continues this way.

Ron, I had no idea you'd been ill. Glad you're better! Keep on keepin' on!!! Hal Bowen, were you at The Wall display in Wake Forest year before last? We were and it was beautiful. Also, Wake Forest is the only place we've been where random strangers see our Gold Star plate and make a point to come up to us and say, "Thank you for your sacrifice".
