Reports of the Mobile reunion sound great, as in wish I'd been there great! to say the least at being guilty of not supporting my fellows Rattlers! which is what I believe we do when we're at those get togethers.. even though I've only made one! 2000 St Louis... "failure to communicate" McQueen said... I'm guessing that's what PTSD does.. or maybe Im just blaming PTSD lol... I wish I were more responsible and courageous enough to go to all these rendezvous... I miss you guys and have an undying respect for each of you who were brave enough to our jobs back then, without opting to the Jane Fonda protesters... anyway long way around, to just say hope y'all had a happy and Gracious Memorial day! And know that we will carry the weight of the stories and names to our graves, hell that's the saying in the song "He ain't heavy he's my brother!" ... God bless and welcome home brothers!

GREAT REUNION: really good to see all of you, just setting out by the helicopter, and talking old times, although all the stories are the same, they came from the people that lived them, which is the story in itself. I sat and talked with Jim Pfister, about what they endured as POW'S. those that survived as POW'S, after the fact, Jim still likes to talk his chickens, and his 80lb cat. thank you for being there with us Jim. we all went through our own level of hell, we must remember those of us that did not make it home.

Another great reunion thanks to the efforts of Ron and all the guys who have a hand in setting these up and transporting the display artifacts. We visited New Orleans again on Sunday. Bourbon street is still wild. Spent Monday afternoon at the Aviation Museum at Ft Rucker and bought a new wood slick model complete with door guns. Also swung thru Ft. Benning. Both Rucker and Benning have changed so much I had a tough time finding my way around them. Finally arrived back home on Wednesday, tired but very happy after a wonderful week back down memory lane. Another special reunion and a great job, as usual by Ron. I hope everyone knows and appreciates the work and effort he does to make these reunions so good. I don't know if people realize we probably would not have reunions if not for him. A very special and large thanks to the tall man!!!
