I served as a doorgunner in F-Troop 69-70.I can not remember who my a/c was.If anyone knows who he was,please let me know.I remember that he was the greatest.I flew on ac#497 with Bernard Smith who later went to the firbirds &then it was Bernard Hockensmith.

Between January and March of 1966, four pairs of yellow lines were painted the length of the Snake Pit. The pairs were spaced to when pilots kept the lines between the pedals, four rows of birds would fit safely on the Snake Pit. Does anyone have a picture showing those lines before the revetments were built?
