Everybody get your reservation in for the reunion in Denver. Paul Dalferro you said you'd see me in Denver. Don't make Doug and I hunt you down. Am looking forward to seeing everybody again. Linda is putting off her surgery,a major one, until after the reunion. Hope see makes it so we can go. It would be the only reason we don't show. Good to see Wally's name on the list. Haven't seen you since Vegas. Now where in the hell is Curry? He hit for $1250 on my wife's slot machine in Vegas. You still owe me another beer! Would love to see Kotecki,Link, the Stork,Parkanski and a few others who've never made it. I'm not getting any younger here. Some who paid the ultimate, we'll never see, but will never forget. God willing and Linda hangs in there I'll see yall in Denver.

I just read Outpost of Freedom by the man who will be our guest speaker, Roger Donlon. I recommend it to all who will attend the dinner. It is easy to read and captures the horror of those five hours. Our local library did not have it, however, by using the library system I had a copy within a few days.

I'm looking for Rattler 20 from 1970. From the call sign page it would be Jim Fulbrook. I was a platoon leader for 4/31 196th LIB C. Co. Just wanted to say thanks after all of these years for the service you gave and the help you gave me. Also to whoever the Rattler slick was that picked myself and Tommy Burns up after being wounded May 3, 1970, wanted to say thanks to you also. I know today you are carrying your testicles around in a wheelbarrow. This is a great site, thanks to all of you Rattlers and Firebirds for your support of the 196th. Barry Everett.

The Rattlers and Firebirds lost a brother this week. Curtis "Buck" Crouch died Saturday from cancer. Buck was our unit's first XO in 1964. Buck was a fixture at our reunions where he could "hold court" with his humor, wit and memories. RIP Brother!
