CWO Pat Gwaltney, was one hell-of a pilot, he flew many missions, that I crewed, as a crew chief. in fact, we were shot down 3 times together, all survived, on 2, none should have survived, only because of his skills, that we did. the time we were shot down in flames, with all 48 rockets, grenades for, front mounted grenade launcher, had just refueled, we were a bomb going down. A PERSON I WILL NEVER FORGET, today, I heard of another, member passing on. John Bracken, he was in our, maintenance, shed. we will all meet again, if only in spirit, I am good with that.
