Comment: Gary was a great guy, very good pilot and my friend. We took turns leading and covering each other as a wingman in our light fireteam in 1967-68. The last time I saw him was at the 25th reunion in Memphis. When he departed for home, we joined in a man-hug and I told him to be careful flying rescue missions with Rocky Mountain Helicopter. He died as a result of a crash while attempting to rescue a woman who had twister her ankle while climbing a mountain slope in the Rockies.
He is missed!
