Rattlers and Firebirds,

May I begin this letter by wishing to all of you and your families a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!

We now have two months until our reunion. For anyone who may have a question concerning our accommodations, I will try to explain our deal with the Ramada Memphis.

In October I expanded our block of rooms from 20 to 35. I hope I have to expand it again! This block of rooms will be held until January 12, 1993. You must make your reservations by this date to get one of these rooms at our reduced rate. The normal room rate is $70 to $80 per night. If we have at least 10 rooms taken our rate will be as follows: single $47, double $54, triple $59, and quad $64. These rates are all plus a 12.75% room tax. If we have at least 20 rooms taken we will receive a complimentary hospitality room, otherwise we will need to rent a hospitality room for at least one day (Saturday) at $75. When you make your reservation, be sure you tell them you are with the 7ist Assault Helicopter Company reunion. The Ramada phone number is (901) 362-8010. They do not require a credit card number at this time, but they do recommend it. If you plan to arrive on Friday, February 12th after 6 p.m. you must guarantee your room with a credit card for it to be held for you Friday night. Any cancellation of a reservation must be made no later than. Wednesday, February 10th.

On a separate page I am listing everyone who plans to attend our reunion, and everyone who may attend our reunion. If you desire to share a room with any of these people, you should contact that person now to determine if that person is agreeable to sharing a room. Everyone should have everyone else's address. If not, please let me know.

If you cannot attend our reunion, I will guarantee you I will send you a small group photo of everyone, if you will send me a relatively new photo of you for me to take to the reunion. If you send me $4 with your picture, I will send you an 8x10 group photo. See you in Memphis!
