Comment: He was my uncle. I was really young when he died but I remember it very well. I have his wall clock that he brought back from Germany. I keep a picture of him in the case and look at it when I wind it. The clocks name has always been Clyde.

Comment: Ambruson was my hootch mate in 68-69.....a little older than most of us kids...good man, good friend...his room had the nicest woodwork in the company... he liked Teachers Scotch which was beyond the palate of the rest of us...I flew as his copilot several times and found him to be one of the best of us....I have somewhere a low quality photo of him walking away, tall and lanky, looking back over his shoulder at me.
